Outage Management Replacement Project (SE-75)

​Market participants are required to request permission and receive approval for planned outages from the IESO.

A project for the replacement of the existing Outage Management System is underway with the first phase being the implementation of a user interface for market participants who do not currently submit outages via an Application Programming Interface (API). This phase will address some process efficiencies identified by both the IESO and market participants.

This initiative is of specific interest to all market participants who currently submit outage requests to the IESO.

This stakeholder plan has been developed to define the opportunity for market participants to identify issues and opportunities for the current tool and identify areas for business process improvements.
