Enhanced Day-Ahead Commitment (EDAC) - I.T. Build (SE-87)

​​The overall Enhanced Day-Ahead Commitment (EDAC) project is comprised of the following three phases:

  1.  Initiation and Design Phase
  2. Build and Test Phase
  3. Adoption and GO-LIVE Phase (including Project Closure)

For the Initiation and Design Phase, Market Design was managed primarily through stakeholder engagement plan SE-21, and the detailed design was the focus of stakeholder engagement plan EDAC Detailed Design (SE-73). The market facing elements of the I.T. Build portion of the Build and Test Phase will be the subject of this stakeholder engagement plan.

The objective of this plan is to provide affected stakeholders with the opportunity to identify operational and settlement issues with respect to EDAC market facing systems and reports, in order to minimize potential adverse impacts.

This initiative will involve market participants that enter bids and offers into the market as they will be directly affected by the implementation of EDAC - including generators, importers and exporters.
