This stakeholder engagement considers the future role for and treatment of the peaksaverPlus Program. This review includes a discussion on the effectiveness of the program in its current design, as well as near and longer term considerations to evolve demand response in the residential sector. The IESO seeks input from stakeholders to inform how best to move forward with peaksaverPlus in the near term.
The IESO encourages all stakeholders in Ontario's electricity sector, or their representatives, with an interest in this initiative to participate in this engagement. This initiative will be of particular interest to Local Distribution Companies and service providers who are involved with the peaksaverPLUS program.
