Call for nominations to the Market Renewal Working Group

The IESO is looking for additional stakeholders to participate in the Market Renewal Working Group. The Market Renewal Working Group (MRWG) is a stakeholder forum comprised of energy sector representatives who have volunteered to share their experience and expertise to advise and guide the IESO on important strategic, policy, and design issues related to Market Renewal.
By design, representation in the MRWG is divided equally among key industry sectors; a list of current members is available. The IESO is seeking additional representation from generator and load representatives and from stakeholders who may be able to bring a unique or under-represented perspective to this important initiative.
Stakeholders interested in participating in the Working Group are asked to do the following:
- Review the MRWG Terms of Reference to understand the role of the group, the desired qualifications and the clear expectations for preparation and participation in meetings
- Send an email with the subject link ‘MRWG Call for Nominations’ to engagement@ieso.ca by Friday October 6. The email should demonstrate your qualifications, experience and how your participation can bring a unique or under-represented perspective to the MRWG
Nominations may also be made on behalf of another individual.
The IESO will review all nominations and will communicate decisions on membership shortly after the closing date.
