IESO Board of Directors appoints new SAC members and issues new call for nominations

March 7, 2019

The IESO Board of Directors (BoD) has appointed three new members to join the Stakeholder Advisory Committee (SAC). The Committee gives senior stakeholder and community representatives the opportunity to provide policy-level advice and recommendations directly to the BoD and Executive on matters relating to the IESO’s mandate and other matters that may be of interest to stakeholders and the general public.

The new SAC members are:

  • Pat Chilton, Five Nations Energy
  • Malini Giridhar, Enbridge Gas
  • Bruno Jesus, Hydro One

Subsequent to the nomination of the new SAC members, an incremental resignation has triggered the BoD to issue a new call for nominations of a qualified individual to join the SAC. Nominations will be accepted to fill a vacancy within the energy related businesses and services constituency – examples of representation might include electricity traders/wholesalers, aggregators, innovation, research, smart grid, conservation-related services. The SAC Terms of Reference sets out the qualifications and expectations of SAC members.

The deadline for submissions is Thursday, March 28. Please submit nominations, on behalf of yourself or another individual, by letter together with the nominee’s resume to the attention of Trevor Esdaile, with a copy to engagement@ieso.ca
