Operating reserve stakeholder engagement launched

A reliable operating reserve (OR) product is critical to the effective operation of the grid. When the full scheduled amount of OR is not accessible, it can create challenges for the IESO to recover the supply-demand balance after a system event.
To better understand the issues and develop potential solutions to OR accessibility, the IESO is establishing a stakeholder engagement with a webinar on April 10. The stakeholder engagement plan is on the engagement webpage; meeting materials will be available one week in advance of the webinar.
