NERC Standard TPL-007, new GIC reporting requirements

To fulfill the requirements of North American Electric Reliability Corporation Standard TPL-007, Establish requirements for transmission system planned performance during geomagnetic disturbance (GMD) events, all participants owning transformers or transmission lines with terminal voltage greater than 200 kV now have to provide GIC (geomagnetic induced currents) data for this equipment through Online IESO.
The Online IESO registration help file has been updated to provide guidance on the online submission of GIC data.
