Regional electricity planning underway in GTA West

Regional electricity planning is underway for the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) West, which includes Halton and Peel. To ensure that stakeholders are aware of planning activities in the region and to provide opportunities for input, the IESO has launched a new engagement initiative.
The first step is to get input on a draft Scoping Assessment Outcome Report that identifies specific needs, areas in the region requiring more comprehensive planning, and the approach to be undertaken.
A webinar on June 24 at 2 p.m. will review the draft Scoping Assessment Outcome Report and allow participants to ask questions and provide feedback. The webinar materials will be made available in advance and registration is online.
