First white paper sets the stage to bring more DERs into the markets

The IESO is releasing the first paper in its Innovation and Sector Evolution white paper series, Part 1: Conceptual Models for DER Integration. This paper sets the stage for further action to integrate DERs into Ontario’s electricity markets by discussing conceptual models for DER participation and identifying key barriers that may stand in the way.
This paper is the first in a two-part series. Feedback from stakeholders – on the barriers and options to overcome them – will be accepted until November 7, to inform the second white paper, Part II: Options for Enabling DER Participation.
