New Engagement Initiative: Development of IESO Implementation Plan for 2017 Long-Term Energy Plan

The IESO has launched a new engagement initiative to seek input on the development of its Implementation Plan for the 2017 Long-Term Energy Plan.
Interested parties in this engagement can expect to learn more about how the IESO is developing an Implementation Plan for nine specific initiatives in the 2017 Long-Term Energy Plan. The IESO is looking for feedback on:
- The overall approach to its Implementation Plan (e.g., is an adequate and efficient scope of activities proposed to meet the implementation plan directive?)
- The proposed timeline to respond to the directive initiatives
The Implementation Plan is due to the Minister of Energy by January 31, 2018.
A webinar will be held on November 22 from 11:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. where communities and stakeholders can learn more about the scope of the engagement initiative and areas in which to provide feedback, which can be submitted until December 13.
All communities and stakeholders are invited to participate in this initiative.
