Materials now posted for March 6 Technical Panel meeting

Materials for the March 6 Technical Panel meeting are now posted on the Technical Panel webpage. The meeting is being held in downtown Toronto from 9:00 am to 11:00 am with members of the public invited to attend as observers.
During the meeting, Technical Panel members will review three proposed IESO Market Rule amendments. Two of the proposed amendments will determine if they are in a position to be sent for final consideration by the IESO Board. These amendments relate to the deletion of reference to regulated settlement (including the Rural and Remote settlement and the Debt Retirement Charge) and adding clarity to the rules for enabling system flexibility in the thirty minute operating reserve market. The third amendment relates to adding clarity to the rules for station service obligations where discussion with panel members will determine if it should be posted for broader stakeholder comment. An information item on capacity exports will also be provided to the panel.
