2024 Annual Planning Outlook Is Now Available

The IESO’s regularly updated forecast of electricity demand, reliability assessments, and identified capacity and energy needs is available for download. With significant progress being made to address these needs, the IESO is also providing an update of its emissions forecast for the sector.
The Annual Planning Outlook helps guide future actions and build a foundation for decision-making by identifying system needs and planned actions from 2025 to 2050 that are needed to ensure the reliability, affordability and sustainability of Ontario’s electricity system.
