Seeking stakeholder input on gas-electric coordination enhancements

The coordination of gas and electricity resources is taking on a greater importance in the reliable operations of Ontario's electricity system. To that end, the IESO has launched a new stakeholder engagement initiative to seek input on proposed enhancements to the communication and coordination efforts with natural gas generators in Ontario and natural gas pipeline companies.
A webinar will be held on Thursday, May 7 at 2:00 pm outlining the proposed enhancements and seeking input on identifying any implementation challenges or opportunities that might exist. This stakeholder engagement initiative is open to all interested stakeholders.
