This engagement update provides a snapshot of all active IESO engagement activities and is updated on a monthly basis. It helps support a greater understanding of linkages between engagements, and a foundation for more comprehensive and integrated updates.
The IESO will provide an update on activities related to the design of the Small Hydro Program. Key updates will include an overview of the draft program rules and contract based on stakeholder feedback to date from the Small Hydro Community and next steps on implementation.
The IESO will provide an overview of the implementation of a Demand-Side Vision and strategy to explore the enhancement of Demand-Side Resources in the IESO-Administered Market and programs. The initiative addresses key issues and opportunities from the Demand-Side community, and participants will have the opportunity to provide feedback on the scope, vision, and planning of future discussions to prioritize improvements to Demand Response participation models.
The IESO will discuss the objectives for engaging with stakeholders on future Capacity Auction Enhancements with an opportunity for participants to provide feedback. The discussion will also focus on key lessons learned from the 2023 Capacity Auction Enhancements, and information will be provided on scoping criteria, timelines and decision-making considerations for future enhancements.
