Technical Panel Market Rule Amendment Determinations

The Technical Panel is requesting feedback on a market rule amendment proposal that will enable generators and transmitters to install phasor technology infrastructure and provide phasor data to the IESO. Stakeholders can email their comments to rule.amendments@ieso.ca by April 7.
Additionally, a majority of the Technical Panel voted to provisionally recommend market rule amendment proposals: MR-00455-R00, MR-00461-R01 – Market Renewal Program: Market Power Mitigation. The proposals amend the market rules to codify the Market Renewal Program’s market power mitigation framework.
