List of Potential Constrained Areas Available

The IESO has completed analysis of the Potential Constrained Areas (PCAs), based on historical constraint data observed after the first five months of the renewed market launch.
These PCAs have been made publicly available online and will be in effect as of January 15, 2025. IESO will monitor congestion patterns in these PCAs and may designate one of more of these areas as Dynamic Constrained Area (DCA) when criteria are met. DCAs reports will be published at:
