In this webinar, the IESO will discuss stakeholder feedback received following the August meeting and present the proposed non-firm import methodology.
Stakeholders will be presented with a draft set of near-term changes for feedback, and discussion on longer-term improvements to the TR market will begin as part of Stage 3 of the TR Market Review
The IESO will summarize stakeholder feedback on the draft detailed design documents and provide preliminary information on the independent review process for market power mitigation reference levels.
The IESO will provide an update on the technology-specific reference level discussions and summarize stakeholder feedback received on the Market Entry and Prudential Security batch of market rules and manuals.
This engagement is seeking feedback from stakeholders on two options to address IESO uninsured liability risk. One option would ensure that the IESO liability risk under the Market Rules reflects what insurance products are available in the marketplace and make it consistent with what is commonly used by other ISOs across North America. The other option would consider a means to recover losses through the market.
