The IESO seeks input to inform a change to the way that the IESO and local distribution companies (LDCs) settle approved costs associated with implementing the Conservation First Framework.
LDCs currently submit an invoice to the IESO on a monthly or quarterly basis for all eligible expenses incurred in the applicable period. The IESO then pays the approved, invoiced amount to the LDC within 20 business days. The IESO is proposing to transition this process to the existing process used to settle funds in the physical electricity market whereby LDCs receive a single invoice within 10 business day after the end of each month for all market-related charges.
