New Stakeholder Engagement - RT-GCG Program Cost Recovery Framework

The IESO is launching a new stakeholder engagement considering possible changes to elements of the Real-Time Generation Cost Guarantee ("RT-GCG") Program. Under this engagement, the IESO will present a new cost recovery framework which will aim to clarify and increase the transparency for market participants of costs eligible to be submitted for recovery under the program. The objective of this initiative is to develop a more clearly defined and transparent cost-recovery framework; one that also reduces the scope and frequency of audits related to this program.
A stakeholder engagement plan outlining the process and objectives for this initiative has been posted on the stakeholder webpage. The first meeting will take place on October 27. To register, email stakeholder.engagement@ieso.ca.
