IESO launches engagement on energy efficiency auction pilot

The IESO is launching an engagement to inform the design of the energy efficiency auction pilot. The IESO is seeking to understand the receptivity of the energy efficiency market to participate in auction-style procurements, as well as the benefits to the system of acquiring energy efficiency this way.
The IESO will be hosting a webinar November 20 from 10 - 11:30 a.m. to provide an overview of the draft high-level design of the pilot auction and collect feedback on various elements, including the proposed resource eligibility requirements, settlement structure, and timeline.
