IESO launches regional LED incentive for greenhouses

Greenhouses located in the Windsor-Essex and Chatham-Kent areas can now take advantage of an enhanced LED grow light incentive to help reduce energy costs and help the province better manage growing energy needs in the region. Offered through the IESO’s Save on Energy Retrofit program, the incentive is being tripled and covers around 30 per cent of the overall project costs for local customers. The incentive is available to existing greenhouses that are upgrading or installing LED lighting and to new builds.
