Register for Upcoming Market Renewal Reference Level Engagements
Technology-specific discussions are underway to develop the methodologies that will be used to determine reference levels and reference quantities for the new market power mitigation framework of the Market Renewal Program. These methodologies will form the foundation of the one-on-one reference level consultations that are scheduled to begin in 2021.
The IESO will be holding sessions for storage and dispatchable hydroelectric resources on November 26 and nuclear and thermal resources on November 27. These meetings are technical working sessions specific to dispatchable resources, but are open to all interested participants.
