IESO Annual Report Now Available

With the impacts of COVID-19 upending virtually every aspect of our society and economy, the IESO remained steadfast in its focus on delivering value throughout 2020. Costs were contained by deferring lower priority projects, actively managing staffing requirements and reducing expenditures. After maintaining flat revenue requirement levels from 2017-2019, the IESO reduced its revenue requirement for 2020.
The IESO’s 2020 Annual Report includes an accounting of the IESO’s finances last year. In addition to prioritizing the health and safety of employees, progress was made on a number of key initiatives related to resource adequacy, market renewal, stakeholder and community engagement, planning and operations, and the evolution of energy efficiency, among others.
