Technical Panel - New Member Appointment and Materials for October 5 Meeting Posted

The IESO Board of Directors has appointed a new member to the Technical Panel to complete the term of a previous member. Nick Papanicolaou of Lehigh Cement is the new representative member for the market participant consumer constituency. Additional information regarding Technical Panel membership can be found in the Terms of Reference.
The Technical Panel will meet on October 5 for an introduction to the market power mitigation batch under the MRP program. Members will also be introduced to a new item, adjustments to intertie flow limits, and proposed market rule amendments will be presented and voted on to determine if they should be posted for stakeholder comment.
Additionally, Technical Panel members will vote to recommend a proposal containing changes for the 2021 omnibus for consideration by the IESO Board of Directors.
