New Engagement - Adjustments to Intertie Flow Limits

The IESO is hosting an engagement webinar on November 22 on Adjustments to Intertie Flow Limits as system conditions in the northwest of Ontario have impacted the export capability from this region.
The IESO began to apply adjustments to interchange scheduling limits last August on the Manitoba and Minnesota interfaces to reflect reduced Ontario export capability. It is now proposing to add clarifying language to the market rules specifying when internal transmission constraints will be considered by the IESO in setting intertie flow limits.
The objective of this engagement is to seek feedback from market participants on the proposed market rule amendment language in advance of the review by the Technical Panel. Register with engagement@ieso.ca to participate and learn more about this engagement.
