New Engagement: 2021-2024 Conservation and Demand Management Framework Mid-Term Review

The IESO will commence engagement on the 2021-2024 Conservation and Demand Management Framework (CDM) Mid-Term Review during the April 20-22 stakeholder engagement meetings. The Mid-Term Review is being conducted at the request of the Minister of Energy and it will assess the performance of existing CDM programs and alignment of targets and budgets with emerging customer and system needs.
The objectives of this engagement are to inform stakeholders of the Mid-Term Review process and approach; discuss electricity system needs and CDM trends identified to date; collect feedback from stakeholders and seek input on program gaps and opportunities. The IESO will use this feedback to inform its recommendations to the Minister of Energy later this year.
