IESO Chair Joe Oliver to Retire

The Chair of the IESO’s Board of Directors Joe Oliver has announced his intention to retire at the end of his latest term which ends in March. Since Mr. Oliver joined the Board in 2019, he has guided the IESO through a period of rapid and unprecedented change. During his tenure, the IESO established a five-year corporate strategy and laid the foundations for market renewal, competitive procurements, cybersecurity leadership and other initiatives critical to Ontario’s energy future.
