The IESO and the Ontario Energy Board have completed the first integrated electricity and natural gas conservation achievable potential study (2019 APS). The 2019 APS identifies and quantifies energy (electricity and natural gas) and demand savings, GHG emissions reduction, and associated costs from energy efficiency measures for the period of 2019-2038.
An overview of the 2019 APS results can be found in the IESO and OEB foreword and a detailed description of the project methodology and results can be found in the final report and data appendices linked below.
