2019 Achievable Potential Study: Advisory Group Members selected

March 8, 2018

Following a public call for applications, the IESO and the Ontario Energy Board have selected the members of the 2019 Achievable Potential Study (APS) Advisory Group based on the 27 applications received. The APS Advisory Group, made up of a variety of representatives, will provide a forum for stakeholder members to provide input and advice on the APS and for the Project Team to communicate study updates.

The main objective of the APS is to identify and quantify energy savings (electricity and natural gas) and GHG emission reductions and associated costs from demand side resources for the period of 2019-2038. The integrated study will be designed to consider a range of optimized scenarios to better inform policy direction as well as informing the development of future conservation frameworks, program planning and long-term resource planning.

Individuals not selected for the APS Advisory Group will have the opportunity to participate and provide input through the public engagement activities for the APS, which will include quarterly public webinars.

Advisory Group and public webinar materials will be posted on the APS webpage along with background on the APS project and the full list of APS Advisory Group members and observers.
