The IESO has identified adjustments required to how Real-Time Make-Whole Payments are calculated to avoid unwarranted payments that can occur under very specific and limited circumstances. As a result, the IESO is initiating an engagement to inform impacted market participants and the broader sector of the change and provide an opportunity to identify any unintended impacts and discuss the implementation of the changes.
This engagement session will provide an update on the specific circumstances of Real-Time Make-Whole Payments in scope for this initiative and the changes being proposed.
