The IESO will provide a high-level overview of the 2026 APO demand forecast, as well as a preliminary discussion on the 2027 APO electricity planning scenarios.
The IESO's Enabling Resources Program is launching the first Distributed Energy Resources (DERs) project meeting to outline the scope and objectives of this stream of work. These engagement sessions with active participants will help inform a design to further enable DERs into the IESO Administered Markets.
The IESO has identified adjustments required to how Real-Time Make-Whole Payments are calculated to avoid unwarranted payments that can occur under very specific and limited circumstances. The IESO is initiating an engagement to inform impacted market participants and the broader sector of the change and provide an opportunity to identify any unintended impacts and discuss the implementation of the changes.
