The Burlington to Nanticoke planning region covers the municipalities of Burlington, Hamilton, Oakville, Brantford, Brant County, Haldimand County, and Norfolk County. Regional electricity planning in the Burlington to Nanticoke region is divided into four sub-regions: Brant, Bronte, Hamilton and Caledonia-Norfolk.

The 2024 Burlington to Nanticoke Integrated Regional Resource Plan (IRRP) has been posted along with the IESO’s response to feedback received following the October 24 engagement webinar. The report details several plan recommendations to ensure reliability in the near, medium and long term.
