Regional Electricity Planning - Toronto

Forecasting and Planning

Regional planning for the Toronto region was completed in October 2025. This engagement initiative provided Indigenous communities, municipalities, customers and interested parties with an opportunity to offer input for consideration into the development of the 2025 Toronto Integrated Regional Resource Plan (IRRP).

Technical Working Group - A Technical Working Group, consisting of Hydro One Networks Inc., Toronto Hydro – Electric System Limited, and the IESO will continue to stay in touch on the implementation of recommendations and timing of the next regional planning cycle. To stay informed on future electricity planning activities for this region, subscribe to receive updates on Toronto.
